Hootie and The Blowfish
So on Friday...I got to see Hootie and the Blowfish preform live. Heck of a perk for working for a newspaper. I had media passes (brought my roommate along too), that covered the $75 dollar entrance fee. It was nice. Plus, there was food! Free food is always good. Lauren and I had a great time, with the exception of the creep sitting next to Lauren who was obviously taking pictures of her and her feet. Something was wrong with him. I caught him with the camera on his head looking at her feet and gave him a 'WTF are you doing look and you better stop' and he did, until I left to go shoot, then Lauren didn't have the courage to tell him to stop...odd. The music was great. I didn't know who they were before the concert, but then I remembered some of their songs. So that was coooool.
Ive had a few other shoots recently, but not really anything to note. Im doing alot less assignments this month than in Jan. I know its march now, so I dont know what it will bring. But in one day I had more assignments for march than I had for all of Feb. together. Feb was a quiet month for shooting. This site turned 2 years old on Feb 20th, I remembered then. But, I didnt feel like adding a post about it.
The Oscars were exciting, I got 14/24 right, which is pretty good. I got a prize in my Mass Communications class for having one of the highest predictions. I came in second place, and the only reason is because I had changed some of my choices during class, and I accidentally marked the wrong person for director. Ick. Oh well. Still did good.
I cannot wait for summer to get here.
